Issue 108: Interior Design Edition
Notes
Over the last few weeks, I've encountered a bunch of interior designs that left me inspired and in awe. I couldn't wait to share them all, so this is a special issue just on interior design.
Let me know what you think. If it's a hit, I'll do more in the future.
Enjoy.

Cubitts SoHo
I recently visited the new NYC retail location for Cubitts, a British eyewear brand. The small but exquisite space is centered around an S-shaped display made of stainless steel and furnished with an LC8 stool by Charlotte Perriand.
Morioka Shoten
Morioka Shoten is a tiny bookstore in Ginza, Tokyo, selling only one book title at a time, which changes weekly. I love the minimalist concept and interior design. That wood cabinet and the worn elements remind me of when I was in art school. All the classrooms looked like this. Bonus: Read about the branding done by Takram.
Palma Cafe
This diner in Blackpool, England, is oozing with old-school style. That mustard yellow and cream paneling with the dark teal seats and wood chairs is just perfect. More here and here.
Project Stokkabrautene
I'm drooling over this kitchen. It's a Hamran kitchen made of pine and treated with colored linseed oil that lets the wood grain show through. That hit of pink is perfect.
Pops Holiday Apartment
Here is another interior with retro vibes. Furora Studio designed this Kraków apartment with pastel hues, velvet curtains, and a Verner Panton S-Chair.
Interior and Films
An excellent Instagram account celebrating the craft of interior and production design in films.
