Hey folks, I hope you're all doing well. The last issue was the first to be sent out from the new platform, so hopefully, you all received it without any problems. If you didn't, check your spam folder.
I have two new items to announce. First, to offset the carbon emissions of this newsletter, I will plant a tree for every issue through One Planted Tree. They're a charity that plants a tree for every dollar donated, and they've planted over 40 million trees in more than 43 countries across the globe since 2014. At the end of every issue, you will find a small callout with details on the location of each tree.
I've also set up a bookstore on Bookshop.org that will include books mentioned in this newsletter, as well as other recommendations. Their mission is to financially support local, independent bookstores by giving them a large portion of their profits. When you buy a book from the AisleOne Digest bookstore, I receive a small commission that will go into supporting the free AisleOne Digest newsletter. Bookshop.org will also give a matching percentage to independent bookstores. So just by purchasing a book through the bookstore, you're supporting this newsletter and independent bookstores. Pretty sweet. I've set up US and UK shops.
