Arne Jacobsen's Room 606

In 1960, the SAS Royal Hotel opened as the world's first design hotel. The hotel was created by Arne Jacobsen — the legendary Danish architect, and designer. He developed the architecture and the entire interior — focusing on every detail down to the ashtrays and door hinges. Jacobsen's Egg and Swan chairs designed specifically for this project became iconic and are still popular today.
