Semiotik Design Agency - Dust+Cream
Semiotik created a visual and textual identity system for skincare brand, Dust and Cream. The wonderful colors of the packaging come from GFSmith’s Colorplan series papers.

Actual Source
Actual Source is a publisher/book store that collaborates with contemporary artists and designers to release limited edition products. I’m really into their apparel designs.

PH House
PH House is a historic villa in Copenhagen restored by Danish design studio, Norm Architects. The mid-century teak furniture and dark kitchen cabinets against the minimal marble and white walls create a beautiful contrast.

Thriving Peoples. Thriving Places.
Nia Tero, a foundation working for Indigenous peoples, and Amplifier, a non-profit design lab, have joined forces to create THRIVING PEOPLES. THRIVING PLACES., a media campaign in honor of the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples.
I love everything about this, and these posters designed by Tracie Ching and Cindy Chischilly are just lovely. There are more on the Amplifier site and you can download free hi-res versions of them.

This stunning design by Toyo Ito & Associates, Architects for the Tama Art University Library in Tokyo, features sweeping concrete arches that create an expansive space.

Minimalissimo Selection: Architecture
The online magazine, Minimalissimo, has released its first book, Selection: Architecture. The book is a visual exploration of architectural design within the bounds of minimalism and was art directed by Ivan Moreale.  I have a copy of this beautiful book, and it’s a great source of inspiration and crafted with such detail.
I was commissioned by Minimalissimo to create a short film for the book that aims to capture the mood of relaxing on a Sunday morning with a good cup of coffee and your choice of literature.

A dreamy series of photos by Matt Steindl shot with a Leica M6 on Kodak Porta 400 film. View the entire series and read the accompanying essay on Field Mag.

Fully Flared
Fully Flared, a skate video by Lakai Limited Footwear directed by Spike Jonze, Ty Evans, and Cory Weincheque, was one of the first skateboarding videos to use high-definition cameras. A stand-out part of the film is the cinematic intro, shot in slow motion and features music from electronic music group, M83.

YSL - L’Homme Sport
Stunning visuals in this Yves Saint Laurent spot directed by Megaforce.

Music
Current Joys - Voyager
I’ve recently been immersing myself in Current Joys’ latest album, Voyager. The album has been described as a film score that seems to tell a story. It’s one of those albums that every track hooks you, and you put it on repeat and listen to it all day long. In my opinion, it’s one of the best albums of the last decade.
