Design
Cécile + Roger Studio
Cécile + Roger is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Geneva (CH) composed of Cécile Nanjoud and Roger Gaillard. I love how fun and exciting their work is. Dig through their work, you won’t be dissapointed.

Vintage Stamps
I found this excellent Flickr (remember that site?) collection of vintage stamps, which includes designs from Wim Crouwel and William Pars Graatsma mentioned in last week’s issue.

Comence Studio Kanstantsin Remez
Comence Studio has designed this book for architect and interior designer Kanstantsin Remez, featuring his work. I enjoy how Comence features some of Remez’s style into the cover design, adding the double-layer paper elements and using textured paper to replicate the building materials.

Ryan Carl Blueprints
Blueprint aesthetics + Grids = 😍. Check out these blueprint studies by designer, Ryan Carl.

250 Design Keyboard
A space-saving concept by Korean studio, 250 Design, for a wireless keyboard and mouse that charge when resting on a charging pad. Interesting idea because both devices are always on the pad and would theoretically never lose power. The keyboard also has integrated speakers, which helps reduce desk clutter. Where do I send my money?

MRTN Architects Frankston Mid Century Modern
Initially designed in 1963 by architect Jack Clarke, this stunning mid-century home was brought back to life by MRTN Architects
Referencing photographs taken by Julius Shulman of fifties and sixties West Coast architecture we developed a palette appropriate to the time while making only minor changes to the outward appearance of the house.

Music
Lera Lynn True Detective
Season 2 of True Detective wasn’t good (season 1 was excellent), but the music written and performed by Lera Lynn is terrific. It’s really moody and bluesy. She also makes an appearance in the show. Lera is the musician performing in the bar when Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn meet. The album has other tracks, so make yourself a playlist of only Lynn’s songs.
Favorite track: The Only Thing Worth Fighting For
