Yusaku Kamekura

Considered the "godfather" of Japanese graphic design, Yusaku Kamekura studied at the Institute of New Architecture and Industrial Arts in Tokyo and was influenced by the Bauhaus and constructivism art movements. His work blended these styles with traditional Japanese aesthetics and defined Japan's post-war design trends.
