Herb Lubalin Rejected Logos
Herb Lubalin is known for his iconic design work — but like with all designers — a lot of his great work was rejected and went unnoticed. I came across Tenth Letter of the Alphabet, a wonderful typography and lettering blog that featured some rejected logo designs by Lubalin and his team. I've personally never seen any of these. They seem to be scanned from a 1971 issue of Print magazine. Love that Newsweek logo.
I also didn't know that Lubalin almost designed the MTV logo. 🤯
